I discovered Van Veeteren after running out of Wallanders and Becks, I am not dissappointed. Do you know if any V.V films are available with english sub-titles?
Yours faithfully,
Hi! I checked it out. It turns out that DVD’s are available. Thus, I’ve written a new page about it! Thanks for the question, which led me to this “discovery”!
I just finished all four English-translated books inside a week’s time. I am sad that no more are available! I love the series– the main character, the humor, the humanity, and the tidbits on the nature of life and love. Hakan Nesser has just become my favorite mystery writer. I hope the publisher of the English translations reads this and gets busy getting us the other books Nesser has written! And hopefully for the Kindle2.
I have listening to about 5 books now, I live in Australia and Swedish books are rare to find so I got hold I these books to listen to. I absolutely love them, not just a normal crime novel but a fine storytelling about events in life and the weird chances of circumstances happening, you know, just THAT day you happen to walk to that cafe on the corner and then the events that follows out of your control…very very good. I am impressed. I wished I have heard about Hakan earlier

I am not a person who are starstruck but I find myself very excited about this. I have a looooong list of questinons and hope to get many answers:-). Lovely page by the way, good idea. Thank you
Hi. My name is James. I’m from Ottawa, Ontario Canada. I really love all his books, and have pre-ordered the most recent VanVeeteren novel. There is another book I’m curious about called ‘Munster’s Fall’. I have looked everywhere, but cannot find an
English translation. Very frustrating. Does anyone know a good website (apart from Amazon -i’ve already tried) where I can find a copy? Thanks. Great page.
Munster’s Fall has not, to my knowledge, been published in English yet
